When you call, leave a message with our confidential answering services. You will received a call back from a psychologist. You will be asked for a brief explanation for your call (this is so we can make an appropriate referral) and some identifying information. You will be contacted for an appointment by one of our professionals within 24 hours.
For Emergencies call (541)388-1866 and let the individual answering the phone know that you have an urgent situation. We respond 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to emergency situations. Each employee and/or their family are allotted a specific number of sessions per calendar year. If you are unsure as to the number of session, you can give us a call or consult with your human resources department.
After EAP visits, some individuals wish to pursue professional help. You may wish to persue treatment with the individual you are seeing or be referred. Please discuss this with your provider and they will help you with questions about billing your health insurance.
Everything that is said between you and your counselor is considered CONFIDENTIAL. Neither your employer or co-workers will have knowledge of your request for help.
On some occasions your supervisor might suggest that you contact an OPACA counselor. He/She might be concerned about a job performance problem and whether personal problems might be affecting the job. Nevertheless, participation in the program is voluntary and confidential.
